We believe that peace begins in the heart, with the individual, being able to love and feel compassion for themselves and others.
Peace isn’t just an absence of War, we will never have peace until there is equality among men and women, peace in our homes, relationships, families. Then we can build peace across nations and globally.
Peace comes with learning how to resolve conflict in non-violent ways and having empathy and compassion for others – realising that we are much more the same than we are different. Warrior of Love, turns the tables on the term warrior. In simple language we are trying to convey the power of love to heal, connect because as another great song says “All you need is love”. It is the most powerful force in the universe, binding sub-atomic particles, it surrounds us and is within us in abundance, the more we give the more there is to sustain us. That is the message of peace we bring with the song Warrior of Love.
The song Warrior of Love appears on the CD Everything Blue an indie recording by Kat & Tony released at the beginning of 2014. Jesse Warner is my son and Tony Rees my life and musical partner and we collaborated on this song.
